“Where’s my Baby?”
Il libro “Where’s my Baby?” è uno dei libri per bambini che amo di più perché crea occasioni per tante attività interessanti. In particolare, durante il momento di teatro in lingua inglese: i nostri bambini (classe prima) “mostri” che vengono portati davanti alla Mummy Monster che sta cercando il figlioletto che ha perso. Alla fine della storia scopriamo che il figlio che cercava era un bambino vero, ma agli occhi dei mostri è lui il vero mostro solo perché è diverso da loro!
Questo laboratorio insegna molto di più delle parole nuove in inglese, ci insegna quanto è importante accettare chi è diverso da noi perché… DIFFERENT DOESN’T MEAN WRONG!
This is a book that I have always loved as it offers a variety of wonderful activities that can be done with young children. The children in our first year at school took on the role of the characters in the story and performed while the teacher read the story. This way of acting out a story brings it to life and gives it new meaning. To complete this work, we made a monster book and coloured it in, after observing the monsters in the book. It was a memorable experience all round as it also provided a reflection on the subject of inclusivity.
